Get to know me
What started as a simple hobby has grown into a lifelong passion. My journey began with an old Canon 60D DSLR and a $125 “nifty-fifty” lens — nothing fancy, just enough to capture family life as my kids grew up. Vacations, birthday parties, backyard games — every photo was an attempt to freeze a fleeting moment in time.
Before long, I found myself coaching pee-wee football while juggling the role of team photographer, snapping pictures between plays and timeouts. That camera soon followed me everywhere — from early-morning fishing trips to crisp autumn hunts — and it was out there, surrounded by nature and good company, that I discovered a deeper love for storytelling through images.
Being the over-achiever that I am, I set a goal not just to take pictures, but to become a great photographer. I studied endlessly — shooting in full manual mode, learning from mentors, taking classes, and watching more YouTube tutorials than I care to admit. With every click of the shutter, my skillset grew, and eventually, my gear had to catch up.
What began as a casual hobby evolved into a passion — and that passion has now transformed into Field & Flight Visuals, LLC, a small business built on capturing the energy of sports, the spirit of the outdoors, and the beauty of everyday life.
